Parents, Teachers and Clubs

Youth Services is committed to providing ongoing support to parents, teachers, caregivers, homeschooling families, and community organizations. Our collection, located in the Children's Room, includes books, films, and magazines, and throughout the year the EPL offers workshops and presentations featuring current topics of interest to adults who interact with children and teens. Library tours, activities, and programs can be tailored to meet individual and group needs by contacting the Youth Services Librarian.

Youth Services strives to maintain a close relationship with the schools by working with educators to identify materials and programs that will enhance and enrich the classroom experience. Teachers are encouraged to use the many resources and services available at the Eldredge Public Library.

Services include:

  • Teacher Cards that allow for extended loan periods.
  • Library tours and instruction.
  • Assignment Alert Form.
  • Thematic lists that support curriculum.
  • Display space for student projects.
  • School visits for special programs, booktalks, and storytimes.
