Friends of the Eldredge Public Library Ongoing Book Sale

The Friends of the EPL run a year-round Book Sale in the Forgeron Room on the building's lower level. There are thousands of books for you to add to your personal library or give as gifts, all at rock-bottom prices. There are brand-new books as well as "antiques." You'll find fiction, non-fiction, biography, mysteries, cookbooks, gardening books, a large children's section, large print books, as well as diverse other subjects and plenty of paperbacks. There are special sale carts. Stock is rotated as fast as customers buy books.

The book sale is open during regular library hours.

Monday 10-5

Tuesday 1-9

Wednesday 10-5

Thursday 1-9

Friday 10-5

Saturday 10-5

Sunday closed

Please check at the Front Desk for any special meetings or programs that may be using the Book Sale Room. The book sale would be closed to customers during these times.

Book Sale Donations

Donations to the Book Sale are always welcome.  However, before cleaning out your shelves, please ask a simple question: "Would someone pay money for this?" If the book is looking pretty seedy, then it's doubtful we can sell it and we ask you not to include it with your donations. We do not accept books with mold or mildew, underlined books or medical or text books.

Because we've had so many wonderful "clean" and new donations during the year, our sales figures are off the charts and we can now help the library buy more equipment and support more programs - all thanks to your generosity. Donations should be left at the Front Desk during open library hours.
