The mission of the Chatham Historical Society is to collect, preserve,

Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary, Chatham Branch. A Cape wide organization of which the Chatham Branch is a part. Members of our organization support the hospital thru fund raising activities and by providing volunteers in the hospital gift shop and thrift shop. Cape Cod Opera Cape Cod Opera is dedicated to the production of staged opera showcasing professional local and regional talent. We take live classical vocal music to Cape schools and senior organizations at no charge. Cape Cod Opera is looking for volunteers to help in the areas of administration and production.
Cape & Islands Chamber Music Festival Their goal is to present the finest classical and contemporary chamber music by both world-class ensembles and exceptional young emerging artists to Cape Cod audiences; to develop new and younger audiences for chamber music; to commission new chamber works whenever possible; and to provide educational activities and programs that encourage, broaden and deepen appreciation for the chamber music art form.

Chatham Drama Guild The Guild is the only 100% volunteer theater group on the Cape. We welcome people who are interested in any aspect of theater - onstage, backstage, or front office. Chatham Ecumenical Council for the Homeless. Homelessness on Cape Cod is growing at an alarming rate, particularly in Chatham and the lower Cape. To combat this problem a group of concerned members of various churches met in 1993 and formed the Chatham Ecumenical Council for the Homeless. Chatham Food Pantry. The Chatham Food Pantry, which is located at St. Christopher's Church in Chatham, provides food to Chatham families in need. Chatham Volunteers in Public Schools. Chatham VIPS recruit community people to work in the Chatham Public Schools. Time commitments are made to fit the volunteer. A volunteer might help with a few one time special events or a volunteer might be a regular aide in a classroom, working one-on-one with students requiring a little extra help and attention. Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands Family Caregiver Support Program at Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands. If you are caring for a family member or loved one and they (or you) are age 60 or older, the Family Caregiver Support Program may be an important resource for you. Friends of Chatham Ballet and Dance Arts, Inc. The Friends of Chatham Ballet and Dance Arts try to provide dance opportunities for students of the lower cape area to make presentations of various dance forms. Independence House The Independence House is an advocacy house offering services and support to victims of Domestic Violence and sexual assault. Court advocacy, food pantry, counseling, 24 hour hotline, group support and child care offered. Volunteers always needed for our hotline, day care, and court program. Interfaith Council for the Homeless Interfaith Council for the Homeless was in established in 1991 to combat homelessness in the eight towns of the Lower Cape. As a community based organization, they are poised to identify the unique problems or intervene in homelessness. The ultimate goal of the organization is to empower and assist individuals and families to attain sustained self-sufficiency.
Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod, Inc. was founded in 1981 to provide patients with a life-limiting illness and their families with quality and compassionate end-of-life care. We are dedicated to providing residents in all Cape Cod communities with appropriate resources to make important decisions regarding end-of-life wishes.
Lower Cape Outreach Lower Cape Outreach Council's mission is to provide emergency assistance with free food, clothing and human needs advocacy toward payment of rent, mortgage, fuel, utilities, medical, transportation, and education expenses, for qualified individuals and families residing in the eight towns of the Lower Cape.
